Our Home
Our home is minutes from the
Bellingham International Airport. We are on bus lines, and a short distance from Downtown Bellingham, with access to I-5, restaurants and grocery stores.
We are just steps from trails, beach and a newly restored estuary.
Taking highway 542 towards Mount Baker, there are summer hiking and winter cross country ski trails and campgrounds.
Mount Bake ski area is an 80 minute drive.
We have two spaces available to rent. The Light Filled Bay View room upstairs, and the
Cozy Room by the Bay downstairs.
Hosts Dixon and Piper live on site and welcome you to share their home.
Dixon's room is upstairs and Piper's room is downstairs. Guests have their own private bathrooms but access via the halls is shared.
The Light-filled Bay View Room can accommodate up to three guests, with a queen bed and a twin bed. This room also has an adjacent sitting room with spectacular views and space to relax. The sitting room has a couch, loveseat, easy chair and a small dining table with chairs. There is also a mini fridge, a microwave, electric kettle and toaster oven.
The full bathroom upstairs is for guest use only.
Our Cozy Room by the Bay has one double bed. The room measures 8 x 8.5 ft, well suited to a single traveler or a couple.
It has a mini fridge, small microwave and electric kettle, as well as a folding chair and small folding desk/table.
The laundry room is adjacent to the Cozy Room.
The private 3/4 bathroom is around the corner in the hall.
Guests have access to Wifi.
Our laundry is free for guests. We ask all to be respectful and considerate of each other's space when using it, as it is adjacent to the Cozy Room.
Guests may access our family style full kitchen, which is shared with your hosts,
Piper and Dixon.
Our yard is a Certified Wildlife Habitat through the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. We have encouraged native plants and wildlife for many years.
There is a large deck that overlooks the yard. It feels very private, as it is framed in by favorite trees- madrona, big leaf maples, cedars and a seasonal array of blooms and berries.
We are conscientious about the environment, and recycling is encouraged- paper, glass, metal and plastic, and also composting.
Our yard & house in different seasons.
